Roopkund is one of India's most mysterious high-altitude treks, famous for the Skeleton Lake, where hundreds of ancient human skeletons were discovered around the glacial lake. Detailed Itinerary :
*Day 1 – Rishikesh to Wan Village*
Drive through scenic Himalayan roads, river valleys, and mountain landscapes to reach the peaceful village of Wan. Enjoy a comfortable stay in a homestay with modern amenities and beautiful mountain views.

Duration: 10–11 Hours

*Day 2 – Wan to Gairoli Patal*
Begin trekking through dense oak and rhododendron forests. The gradual ascent leads to a peaceful campsite surrounded by nature.

Altitude: 6,358 ft to 9,843 ft
Stay: Tents (Triple / Quad Sharing)
*Day 3 – Gairoli Patal to Patar Nachauni via Bedni Bugyal*
Trek across the famous Bedni Bugyal, one of the most beautiful alpine meadows in the Himalayas. Enjoy panoramic views of Trishul and Nanda Ghunti before reaching Patar Nachauni.

Duration: 5–6 Hours
Altitude: 9,843 ft to 12,818 ft

*Day 4 – Patar Nachauni to Bhagwabasa via Kalu Vinayak*
Trek towards Kalu Vinayak Temple with a gradual climb followed by a steeper ascent. Depending on the season, the trail may have snow or rocky patches before reaching Bhagwabasa.

Altitude: 12,818 ft to 14,117 ft

*Day 5 – Bhagwabasa to Roopkund and Back to Patar Nachauni*
Start early for the summit push to the mysterious Roopkund Lake. Explore the famous Skeleton Lake surrounded by towering Himalayan peaks before descending back to Patar Nachauni.

After breakfast, drive back to Rishikesh with unforgettable memories of alpine meadows, Himalayan peaks, and the legendary Roopkund Lake.
