Location & Altitude – Kedarkantha lies in the Govind Pashu Vihar National Park, Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand, at 3,810m (12,500 ft), offering stunning 360° views of Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, Black Peak, and other ranges.
Trek Duration & Difficulty – A 6-day trek, covering around 20 km, graded easy–moderate. Ideal for beginners with basic fitness, featuring gradual ascents, ridge walks, and snowy summit climbs in winter.
Scenic Highlights – Dense pine and oak forests, charming Himalayan villages, frozen lakes like Juda ka Talab, snowy clearings, and a grand summit ridge with wide Himalayan vistas.

Day 1: Drive from Dehradun → Kotgaon (6,300 ft)
Day 2: Kotgaon → Juda Ka Talab (9,500 ft)
Day 3: Juda Ka Talab → Basecamp (11,200 ft)
Day 4: Basecamp → Summit (12,500 ft) → Juda Ka Talab
Day 5: Juda Ka Talab → Kotgaon → Drive back to Dehradun
