Vajir Pinnacle is a striking rock formation located on the southern side of Mahuli Fort. Standing tall amidst a cluster of dramatic hills and pinnacles, Mahuli is a paradise for trekkers and rock climbers alike.
At an elevation of 2,815 ft, Mahuli Fort is the highest point in the Thane district. The region is dotted with famous pinnacles like Vajir and Vishnu, making it a sought-after destination for climbing enthusiasts. The surrounding forest is part of a protected sanctuary, adding to the natural beauty of the area.
Historically, the fort was once under the control of Shahaji Raje Bhosale, father of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and is now recognized as a protected monument.
