Tailbaila is a famous rock climbing destination located in Mulshi Taluka of Pune district, around 70 km from Pune. The highlight of this location is the two massive vertical rock walls, each standing approximately 200–250 feet high, creating a dramatic and thrilling landscape.

The Tailbaila trek offers an adventurous experience with tricky trails leading to the base of these towering rock faces. The final challenge involves technical rock climbing, making it a unique experience for adventure enthusiasts.

Tailbaila is also a popular training spot for beginners who wish to learn and practice rock climbing techniques under expert guidance. From the top, trekkers can enjoy spectacular views of nearby forts such as Sudhagad, Ghangad, Sarasgad, and the surrounding Sahyadri ranges.

Itinerary

(Applicable for both event days)

• 07:30 AM – Reporting at Tailbaila base village
• 08:00 AM – Breakfast
• 08:30 AM – Trek towards the rock climbing patch
• 09:00 AM – Gear up and start rock climbing activity
• 02:00 PM – Lunch at base village
• 04:00 PM – Equipment submission and event wind-up
• 06:00 PM – Return to Pune by own transport

• Trekking / Climbing shoes
• Trekking pole
• LED torch / Head torch
• 3 litres of water
• Personal medications (if required)
• Jacket
• Extra pair of clothes
• Dry snacks (Chivda, Laddu, Chikki, Biscuits, Cake, Dry fruits)

• Smoking and alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited.
• Trek leader’s decision will be final and binding.
• Participants with medical conditions must inform the organizers beforehand.
• Avoid carrying expensive jewelry or accessories. Management will not be responsible for any loss.
• Parking facility is available at the base village.
