Get ready for one of the most extreme adventures in the Sahyadris — the 1800 ft Mega Rappelling at Kokankada. This is not just an activity, but a once-in-a-lifetime experience for true adventure enthusiasts.

Located in the Harishchandragad region, Kokankada is a massive west-facing cliff that overlooks the vast Konkan region. The gigantic overhanging rock face makes it one of the most spectacular cliffs in the Sahyadri mountain range.

Descending this enormous wall through technical rappelling is an unforgettable thrill. Participants will rappel down the cliff using professional ropes and harness systems under expert supervision. The descent is performed in four stages to complete the full 1800 ft drop, ensuring safety while delivering the ultimate adrenaline rush.

For many adventure lovers, rappelling at Kokankada is a dream activity. The combination of height, exposure, breathtaking views, and technical descent creates an experience that will remain a lifetime memory.

Itinerary

Day 1

• 05:00 AM – Reporting at Kokankada base
• 07:00 AM – Reach Kokankada and breakfast
• 07:30 AM – Start 1800 ft rappelling activity
• 01:00 PM – Completion of rappelling stages
• 04:00 PM – Reach Bailpada village
• 05:30 PM – Lunch and rest
• 06:30 PM – Start return journey

Important Note for Base-to-Base Participants

After completing the rappelling activity, participants will trek with the SL Adventure leader to Bailpada village.

Participants planning to return via Nalichi Vaat route must arrange their own guide. SL Adventure will not provide a guide or leader for Nalichi Vaat.
