Harishchandragad Trek via Nalichi Vaat
2 Nights / 3 Days | ₹2,200 per person

Overview

Harishchandragad, situated in the Sahyadri mountain range, is one of Maharashtra’s most iconic forts. Among its various trekking routes, Nalichi Vaat is considered one of the most challenging and technical approaches to the fort.

Starting from Walhiware village, this route passes through a narrow rocky gorge and involves steep ascents, exposed rock patches and demanding climbing sections. Unlike the relatively easier routes from Pachnai and Khireshwar, Nalichi Vaat requires excellent endurance, confidence on rocky terrain and proper time and water management.

The trek offers an adventurous journey through rugged mountain landscapes, culminating at the spectacular Konkan Kada, famous for its dramatic cliff face and breathtaking sunset views.

Important: This trek is recommended only for experienced trekkers with good physical fitness and prior exposure to difficult terrain. Participants must follow the trek leader’s instructions throughout the expedition.
